Again, Repeating History and the Coming
Significant Events of 2020

Are we repeating an important lesson in history today? Does history repeat itself? Philosopher George Santayana seemed to think so, he believed “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it”; or as others have coined the phrase simply “History Repeats Itself”. Most Historians would agree with this statement, we as a species seemed doomed to make the same irrational errors of centuries past. But why is this? There have been many theories out there that time is circular and at any given moment we are parallel to another space and dimension that is similar to our own. Therefore, karmically as a large group of society or culture or even families we are making the same decisions and are having to mitigate the consequences. Is this to evolve on the ladder of enlightenment? Many scholars such as David Wilcox a famous author of New Age books investigated this theory of history repeating itself and linked it to several phenomenon: The Grand Processional Cycle, Mayan Calendar, Sunspot shift and other occurrences that are cylindrical.
Of all of these “The Grand Processional Cycle” both scientists and Vedic astrologers agree; everything is in motion, nothing is stationary, the only constant is change. As the moon rotates around the earth, the earth rotates around the sun and the sun and our small collection of planets, rotates around the central sun in our universe through the Milky Way; this is the giant clock gears traveling around and around that creates time as we know it. The Grand Procession of one cycle takes 24,000. years as stated in “The Holy Science “ by Sri Yukteswar Giri (Guru of Paramahansa Yogananda the famous author of “The Autobigraphy of a Yogi”). As stated by Sri Yukteswar Giri we have been through the lowest point of enlightenment during the middle ages (Kali Yuga Phase) and we are now on the ascent up the cycle to divine enlightenment again in the Dwapara Yuga Phase, ascending back up; approaching the central grand center of our universe.
I love this theory because it explains our lost civilizations , the pyramids, India’s Kailasa Temple, under water cities, the Inca’s and all the other highly advanced building technology we cannot justify from pre-historic man and similarly why the knowledge was lost in the first place. The amazing thing about this is both the modern day scientific community and ancient Vedic Astronomers agree that the Processional Cycle exists. This is significant.

Because we are at the edge of this transition old worn out beliefs are being verified for truthfulness and the old behaviors and thought patterns of the past are being given the humanitarian acid test. This new philanthropical society will have great concern for nature and for all human beings and people will become more enlightened. This all takes a great deal of time and gradual development so the smaller orbits of planets around the sun become an interest to us. These smaller gears of the cycle clock tells us how , what and why events will happen; we can look at our past recorded history during these rotational astronomical planetary events.
What is so significant about this time in our history is that we have three major planets making their clock-work journey through the astrological signs of Sagittarius and Capricorn. This phenomenon is occurring now; the conjunction or aligning of each of these planets: Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto are at the location of the last degrees of Sagittarius and the first degrees of Capricorn. The gears of Pluto take 248 years to travel around the sun and is in each astrological sign approximately 14-30 years, and Saturn takes 30 years to travel around the sun and is in each sign for 2.5 years and finally Jupiter takes only 12 years to travel around the sun and through all of the zodiac signa; consequently, the synchronistic event or meaningful coincidence of all three planets coming together at one time is worth investigating. This is a pivotal and very important event and the amassing of these planets together are to be witnessed as a turning point in our lives. Let’s look at the past, the last several times this event occurred in the world.
Pluto is the god of the underworld, the God of the dead, a God of transformation of the most severe kind. In “The Grand Processional Cycle” this planet is traveling through Capricorn for the second time in the enlightened Dwapara Yuga. At the ending of the dark Kali Yuga age in 1599 a.d. our solar system was the furthest from the grand center. This time saw a culture of diminished lower intellectual power; followers with little discrimination, a world of indentured surfs and war. Pluto making its conjunction with Saturn in Capricorn for the last cycle pass in Kali Yuga resulted in the “Reformation “of religion in Europe from an all Catholic power to having other Christian Religions: Protestants, Lutherans and Methodists. The Bible that was written in Latin was translated and published on printing presses for the masses. A “media revolution” that allowed the people to learn to read and write.
A clear leader of this movement was Martin Luther and he criticized the sale of indulgences ( a fee for position and rank in society) by the Pope. The Reformation believed faith in Jesus Christ would be enough to get into heaven and that
The first pass of these aspects in the more enlightened age of Dwapara Yuga, happened during the American Revolution and the transit of Saturn, Jupiter and Pluto passing through Sagittarius and Capricorn still shapes our lives to this day. First Jupiter transited it’s own sign of Sagittarius in the year 1771. Jupiter is known as the guru or teacher and therefore this time is noted by writing, teaching, spirituality , religion , philosophy ethics and law. This becomes the height of the “Enlightenment Period”. Enlightenment tried to reconcile rationalism and religious belief (faith), individual freedom and political authority (King), as well as map out a view of the public sphere through private and public means. The thought of natural rights, such as “Life, Liberty and Property” doctrine was developed. In addition, the idea of a separation of powers in the government of which the US Constitution has to this day, a system of checks and balances. This era was characterized by an explosion of philosophic and scientific activity challenging traditional doctrines and dogmas. The argument was for a society governed by reason, for a new civil order based on natural law.
In Sagittarius the ideas and philosophies are mixed and strained and as these planets move into Capricorn the baking begins and manifestation of the ideas become concrete in this earth sign. Between 1771 and 1782 the foundation of these thoughts get laid. In 1772, “A Statement of the Rights of the American Colonies” is written by John Adams. A battle of the rebels, an ideological battle with Britain happens before the actual fight begins. In distressed England exports fell due to the US colonies striking from purchasing of UK products and services that were made in England (tariff wars), this throws the island into recession. Both Jupiter and Pluto move into Capricorn in 1772 and the solidification of all the previous thoughts and ideologies comes home to roost. This period of ideological Enlightenment is written down in the Declaration of Independence 1776 for the world to admire.
“ We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”
By 1782 Saturn meets Jupiter in Sagittarius, this gave those radical thoughts and philosophies structure and limits to the physical reality, giving rules and laws to be bound by. In July 1782 Benjamin Franklin signed the Peace of Paris agreement and “From the fires of war, phoenix like sprang that mysterious and long lived creature still with us today, the Anglo-American Special Relationship”. This Plutonian quotation captures the god of the underworld that rises like a Phoenix in the sign Capricorn that gives transformative birth and forever concretely ties the destinies of the US and Britain's International karmic relationship forever.
Globally there were other things happening beside the American Revolution during this time. An important event was the The Eden Agreement of 1786, this was signed by England and France to end the economic war, “Tariff Wars” they had been having. A system was set up to reduce tariffs on goods from either country. This ended up hurting the French economy and was one of the main grievances of the French people that sparked the French Revolution, not to mention another drain on their treasure chest. In addition, the French had been secretly supplying money and shiploads of arms to the American Revolutionaries.
The mad King of England George III came into power in 1760 he was the most “high minded, determined and disastrous monarchs”. He eliminated the Whigs party, the King gave important posts to his backers, (a fee for position and rank in society). The new crown courts and officials were bypassing elected assemblies. Of course, the Whig party viewed this as an effort to undermine the foundations on which every good political aim had been won and “that they were facing an absolutist plot led by the King himself to subvert the constitution won by their forebears in the glorious British Revolution”. {Wow, déjà vu}.
The backers of King George thought “one that believes God (the King), not the people, to be the origin of all civil power”, this thought was exact opposite to the Enlightenment Theory.
The fiscal military state of Britain became a dangerous army, navy and bureaucracy of elitists. This was all due to the abused power of the Crown. The wealth in India, channeled through the East India Company corrupted the political system and enabled the Crown to bypass Parliament. The abuse of power had led officials to become obscenely rich through “private trade” , the spoils of ruined Indian provinces. Various critics put this time period as “a detestable tyranny”.
Our founding father’s saw this corruption in England and fashioned impeachment in the US Constitution on the very substance of “a detestable tyranny”. During this time riots in London began and several people were shot by soldiers and the unrest moved to the US colonies. It was those same fears of liberties being taken away that spurred the Boston Tea party rebellion of Taxation without representation. Thomas Paine called George III, “A Royal Brute”.
It’s interesting to note that King George went permanently insane after the death of his favorite daughter and his son then took over the Kingship. He left a scientific legacy of large telescopes to look into the heavens. The Mad King’s birthday is just days away from Donald Trumps in June. However, this is not the time to analysis their charts, but it does seem rather strange since Donald Trump has been characterized by his supporters and opposition as a monarch. Even EPA Director Rick Perry called him “Ordained by God”.
Recently interviewed on NBC Journalist Steve Miller said, “ The White Supremist are turning the Republicans into the Whig’s and the Republicans are separating themselves from the mainstream". Judge Jackson stated, “the primary takeaway from the past 250 years of record in American History is that Presidents are not Kings. This means that they do not have subjects bound by loyalty or blood, whose destiny they are entitled to control. These revolutionary quotes within the last several months regarding the similar events of England in the late 1770’s and the other mad king cannot be ignored. One things for sure Mad King George III did not get his way, but in the confusion of it all created economic and domestic strife for England, India, the US and France. In addition, both of these periods dealt with our eyes in space with telescope advancement, Trump as stated, “The Space Force will organize, train and equip warriors to support Spacecom’s mission”.
The last transit of revolutionary Enlightenment changed the world views of our philosophies on religion, spiritualism, art, politics, education, science and law. Shortly after America filed for their sovereignty, France and Russia followed. It was no longer a time of monarchs but a time for the people to rule themselves.
FUTURE
Okay, so we can see that there are underlying themes to the previous periods of Saturn, Jupiter and Pluto transiting Sagittarius and then moving into Capricorn. The first process begins with concepts, philosophies and radical thoughts that push nations into concrete actions that results when the planets move into Capricorn. In general, at the beginning there are these thoughts and ideas about fair and equal consideration to all human beings; excessive, unjust and evil behaviors of the governing state and/ or religious body are honed in on and pushed to a head to eradicate. These high aiming ideologies then become rejected and not even considered by the powers in control, be it King, Tyrant , Pope or unjust political power. Then, the rebellion begins.
REVOLUTIONS & RIOTS
As of this writing January 2020 in peaceful Mahatma Ghandi’s India there is turmoil over unfair criticism for immigration status for Muslim refugees and violence has begun. The government there is bringing up old bigotry from the civil war and Pakistan split from India, this is making Muslims second class citizens; even non-Muslims are protesting.
In the year 2019 we saw an epidemic of riots and demonstrations: France Yellow Vests, Algeria changed the regime, Hong Kong has a political crisis that is on-going about democracy reform. The people of Venezuela, Chile, Lebanon, Iraq want government reform and in Iran anger and frustration is growing regarding equality, justice and a new economy.
Even in Moscow there were protests regarding unfair elections. Of course, there are protests against Trump in Cuba, Europe, Iran, Iraq and the UK. There are protest in US about Trump pulling out of the Climate Summit. The “Me Too” movement for women has seen a revolution of court cases for serial molesters.
Pretty much there is global unrest regarding political practices that the citizens of the world disagree to; the policies of the few in power. The major disagreement being pro-democracy actions needed and climate change. So far these have been answered with bullets and tear gas in most countries. This year we will see increasing unrest with more riots and demonstrations, the world is seeking it’s freedom from tyranny and corrupt officials, look to see this especially in the Middle East, India, China and the Philippines and Malaysia, these are major hot beds astrologically for 2020. It is critical that the US State Department not just spout off aggressive propaganda but use rational thinking and compassion for all areas that are significant for US strategy and safety. Once Pluto sits in Capricorn permanently 2021 and, if the scales are not balanced for the good of all even more transformational energies will prevail. Then look to see new young Che Guevara’s with sayings like, “If you tremble with indignation at every injustice then you are a comrade of mine”. It would be best for the world if these leaders would be elected now, but during the future Capricorn era it will be governments possibly over-thrown. Now is the time for policies and negotiations, later will not be the case.
MEDIA ADVANCEMENT & POLARIZATION-
Just as the printing press became a media revolution the Digital Age has revolutionized our communications, the media and our thinking. At the present time we are polarized in the United States, but from past experience we can see that this happens first before a catalyst event changes our lives to bring us back into better alignment. The media meltdown of fake news will become more evident before it melts into common secular groves after 2021.
The polarization of the past periods showed a realignment after the original upheaval. Two Hundred & Forty years ago some US colonists believed The King should not be rebelled against, these polarized colonist left their American property and went back to England, losing everything. In England, the Tory Party (Republican) that had overtaken the Whig’s (Democrats) with their corrupt agenda of “Paid Privilege”, ended up losing some of their lives, their property was confiscated and returned to rightful Whig owners and their reputations were ruined. During the Reformation period of 1500’s before the Revolution the same occurrence happened where many lost their property and even their lives due to polarization of their religious beliefs. This ought to tell us to be flexible?
This will be the same for the “paid privilege elite” of this era such as Ambassador Sondland paying Trump 1 million dollars for his campaign and then receiving the “Ambassador to the European Union”. As before the pendulum will swing and look to see some type of legislature or at least guidelines for dictating the actual competence of officials in high appointed positions and changes to campaign finance regulations 2021, 2022.
ENVIRONMENTAL-
There will be an vital upsurges in action for climate change and also an increase in earth changes themselves. From past experience we need to make the right decisions through our own “Free Will” ,otherwise, catalyst events will bring around the changes and boundaries for us anyway. Sagittarius represents humanitarians and philanthropists. As in the past these people step forward to try and right the wrongs of our false actions and thoughts. I think of the young environmentalist Greta Thunberg, (who has her Sun and Moon sign here). These are the last days of Saturn in Sagittarius, the time where we can change our way of thinking before the hard cold realities of earthly Capricorn with Saturn’s transit 2020 2022 and with Pluto in Capricorn from 2021—2035. During the transit of Pluto in Capricorn these occasional weather events will be much more evident, stronger and something that cannot be ignored, or possibly changed. The current administration will be viewed by history as criminal for the outright opposition to curb the pollution of the planet.
LEGAL & MORAL ISSUES-
The Articles of Impeachment are just the first of the legal aspects that will define generational congress’s to come and Jupiter has another year to travel through Sagittarius. This will have long term consequences for the courts and our constitution.
Pluto traveling through Sagittarius since 2005 has upset all of our moral, religious and philosophical ideas and has presented them in gory detail through a magnifying glass. Placing a mirror before our faces letting us examine the shade, the dark side of our natures, our prejudices, bigotries of other religions, races, sex trafficking, drug wars, and the antiquated mind sets of the past, the Saturnian Old. In the last 2 1/2 years Saturn has been here too aggravating the old outdated thought patterns, pushing us to review these issues. The moral majority will be asking themselves if prostitution, lies, and moral degradation is what the evangelical community stands for, these values that the Right Wing president has presented as part of his personality. This will created a more balanced middle ground in politics to come. Now, Jupiter is in it’s own house and there will be a revelation about everything that Sagittarius stands for: truth in law, religion and philosophy.
This is the beginning of the end, the end of the old guard, old thought patterns, old power structures, and this is why it is so fraught with negative emotions and situations. Change does not come easily, as Filmmaker Michael Moore said recently about the verdict of Impeachment, “the last gasp of the dinosaurs,” as the final gasps of the old beast dies it will fight ferociously to stay alive. By the end of Pluto’s drive through Capricorn (2035)our government will reflect a truer representation of the people it stands for as a country. Instead of all old white men there will be a mixture of sex, races and religions as our representatives in the Senate and Congress, truly standing for their constituents.
SPIRITUALISM VERSUS RELIGION-
The Spiritualism Movement is nothing new; the doctrine that the spirit exists as distinct from matter, or that spirit is the only reality”, (we are all an illusion). This Newer Era of Enlightenment has created movements in the religious and spiritualist communities for Self-Realization of the God Essence within and an army of Light Workers have immerged, that meditate and pray for the masses unfoldment. Yoga teaches spiritualism and is now mainstream and TV shows such as “Long Island Medium” are very popular discussing Life After Death Events and Reincarnation. This is the beginning, and there will be more involvement by individuals to take responsibility for their own spiritual advancement with directed self-help, self-awareness and meditation practices such as Kriya Yoga.
Jupiter has just entered its home base sign of Sagittarius. Jupiter is the guru, he teaches and is the guiding light of truth in law, religion and philosophy. He is the planet of cosmic intelligence-not the intellect that depends upon information. As he glides through his own sign there will be a large awakening of souls to the real truth of life in general and inner peace. It’s a one year probation 2020; for our naughty behaviors. A time for embryonic development to once again finally review our ideas and thoughts, old outworn judgements and to find a clear answer to the truth in all things.
The old Saturnian religions will fight for their flocks to stay in the fold. This will be difficult to do if the churches do
180 DEGREE CHANGE-
Our hindsight is 2020 when we view events that have happened before and since this is the year 2020 we should take extra advantage of this insight. During this exciting time we are living in we will look back to these years as revolutionary. The events will happen so fast and be so all consuming that it will be hard to have a balanced, grounded approach while we are in the thick of it. If we know what happened before will we make better decisions? Do we have a second chance? Can we do better?
The first big action we will see is mid-January 2020 when Saturn and Pluto will conjunct in the last degrees of Sagittarius. This will be a time when all that nasty stuff comes to the surface and we will be forced to concentrate our efforts on one particular belief that has outlived its usefulness and is holding us back, (What is it?). There is pressure from the government and there can be some hardships here and loss. Immoral behavior and/or unethical behavior such as lying, manipulation or breaking the law will have serious consequences. This is time to deliberate, and negotiate well-considered change when it comes to our ideologies, and legal strategies as a nation. (NOTE: I wrote this in December, since then there has been the killing of General Soleimani from Iran).
This conjunction between Pluto and Saturn happens during the Lunar Eclipse January 10 2020. This in itself is very significant and historically been felt as ominous. The eclipse happens in Gemini at the last degrees. This signals a “re-do” a repented ray of light shining it’s light onto the hidden issues. Gemini is ruled by Mercury and Mercury is near this conjunction of Pluto and Saturn in Sagittarius This signals that a great amount of information will be forth coming that could very well change history, and our focus. Mercury is conjunct the Sun and combust, this makes the planet weak and communication can be problematic or come at a later time, something we didn’t know will be revealed.
Besides Mercury and the Sun the asteroid Ceres is in the conjunction. This is the Roman Goddess of Agriculture and Grain Crops, specifically wheat. This asteroid is the largest object in the main asteroid belt that lies between Mars and Jupiter. It is interesting to note that Ceres was patron and
Saturn's location in Sagittarius has blocked and hampered the new thinking philosophies, they have been dissected to see if the ideas and new philosophies had any merit. The old way of doing things took on surreal situations that made us wonder- What the hell? These ideas range from immigration travesties for people fleeing South America, hatred and prejudices of all not of Anglo-Saxon heritage, sex-trafficking, pulling out of the Climate Accord, and lifting legislature on the Clean Air and Water act for manufacturers. Fortunately, many business’s had already made it company policy to roll back their carbon footprint, not following this erroneous mind thought that money rules , when in reality we all need clean air and water to live and pursue our happiness.
Saturn deals with the darker side of the mind and the baser elements of life: crime, perversity, and paranoia. It indicates the underworld, the lower realms and its influence works through ugliness, terror and fright, through abuse degradation and debasement. It pursues gross pleasure or even violence, finding pleasure in seeing others in pain. I think of all the racists and religious shootings over the past several years as Saturn made its way through religious fanatical Sagittarius. Through these atrocities we learn we want to change and be better and Saturn is also grandfather spirit and the lawgiver, the karmic giver that can create order and consistency out of our lives from the sorrow and death.
Saturn the original planet of death conjuncts Pluto king of the underworld mid January at the last degrees of Sagittarius, this will surely be a transformational and pivotal moment. This time should not be taken lightly and knee jerk reactions should be avoided.
January 25th Saturn continues into Capricorn; this is Saturn’s home base and is a state of power, order, democratic government, complete organization, practical realization, a rigid, tenacious and determined attitude, increased concentration, sense of detail and a mood of seriousness takes place. It is serious, and will deal out the karma. Saturn will be here for 2.5 years and the high true ideas of Sagittarius become concrete reality and the past debase grievances come home to roost exposed in full daylight.
Pluto moves back and forth across the first degrees of Capricorn in 2020 and then Jupiter conjuncts it three times end of March (Mars involved look for fireworks) & first of April , end of June & July , and mid-November election time! The major changes for transformation of all things will happen here that will reverberate for years.
In addition, as the clock gears all click by planet Mars it rotates around the sun and when it hits the same specific degree points as the significant Eclipses and conjoins other planets, this triggers that specific energy making the spark ignite the fuses at those degree points. Mars is the male planet of energy, power, strength, courage and aggression. It allows the ability to carry out the aspects or characteristic of a planet to its full realization and achievement. Mars will be in it’s own sign of Scorpio of extreme energy of aggression - from December 27– February 8th 2020. Mars is the warrior, the soldier, the active agent that forcefully spurs on action. Once Mars hits these points of the Solar and Lunar Eclipses and conjuncts the planets themselves look to see outward appearances of change that will be revolutionary.

March 23- Mars at Pluto and Lunar Eclipse of 2019-The warrior meets the God of the Underworld, secrets revealed with destructive forces that transform
April 1st—Mars at Saturn- Karmic Law in Action, what goes around comes around and look for Democrats to seize power and possible earth changes April 6-7th—Mars at Lunar Eclipse of 2018– Another pivotal point with strong hints of government changing and earth changes too
May 8 & 9 —Mars at Solar Eclipse of 2018– Another pivotal point, this will see the masses seek a voice.
As Mars enters Pisces June 19th water will take some of the heat off, but with emotional turmoil and some stagnation. At the same time Venus from May 13th to June 25th will go retrograde in Taurus and peace will aid in cooling things down. There could be some deal breakers here, especially for everyone’s love life, since Venus deals with love. Things will feel like we are going backwards and rehashing the same stuff over, but there should be a slow down of such rapid events. However, this will be during the Eclipse seasons of June and what’s opposite of love?
Mars goes retrograde from September 10th to November 13th, stale mates will abound, with nothing quite working the way it should and there will not be fast results. However, rioting, unrest and terrorism maybe especially indicated at the beginning of (September) and then the end of (November) of this period. Especially in September since Mars will be in Aires the hot tempered fast & rebellious sign.
June 21 2020 Solar Eclipse is that same as the eclipse of 2001 that preceded the attacks on America. This is rare to have one so close together in time. The last time a solar eclipse landed on these same degrees was 1889, interesting to note the same year that Jupiter conjunct Ketu in Sagittarius. This eclipse makes aspects to the United States birth planets and will effect Homeland Security and the United States financial status again. This could happen as Mars transits to these eclipse points as it did in 2001 and 1889. These dates are Spring 2021, January 2022, March 2023, December 2023 through January 2024 and finally in late August to September 2024.
In December 2020 Jupiter conjuncts Saturn in Capricorn. The last time this happened was 59 years ago in 1961, Pluto was not involved at that time but look what happened; that year JF Kennedy was sworn in as president , a Russian was the first into space, Freedom Riders of the Civil Rights movement were active with demonstrations and the devasting failure of the CIA raid on Cuba, “The Bay of Pigs” took place. This was the first world event that brought forward our counter intelligence into the world view, our spies were brought out into the light. I remember my mother praying that there wouldn’t be a world war of nuclear proportions since Russia was sending missiles to Cuba after this catastrophe, but backed off at the last moment.
As you can see just these two planets on the clock work cycle made such a dramatic impact on our National Policies. What will happen to us this time around with more main actors? A failed fake war developed by our counter intelligence? The 2020 Jupiter and Saturn conjunctions comes right next to the Pluto one close to mid– November and finally exact the end of December. During the Election both Mercury the planet of communication and Mars the planet of war and aggressive movement will be in retrograde motion. You can beat there will be a problem with the candidates, Russia interference, problem with counting ballets, problem with electronics (hacking), will they postpone it? Will there be Marshall Law? In the long run this will expose the problem with the old way of doing things that don’t work.
This isn’t Chicken Little screaming the sky is falling; it is that the planetary events as seen from a historical perspective is huge, so rare, and so many of them are happening at the same time that it becomes a necessity to see how this will effect us and the consequences for generations to come. If we knew what happened last time can we prevent major catastrophic events to happen and grasps all the good things that will come too? Yes, we will repeat history but it will be a shadow of the past with new development on a focus of ascending the ladder of enlightenment in the Dwapara Period; returning home to the scared grand center.
It’s important to note that the founding fathers of the United States were men of Enlightenment, Spiritualists, and Free Masons; they foresaw events that could possibly happen and gave us the tools to use to prevent major chaos here in the United States. It is now our turn to hone those truths for any further disturbances occurring now and 248 years from now.
We will not understand the impact of this time until we can look back in retrospect , until we have had time to reflect. My prayer is that we pay attention now and not be caught up in our phone apps to wonder what is actually happening around us.
